FischerTal Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 She was granted bail for medical condition. This is not the first time but expect congis to start barking
Raghav_12 Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 No loopholes here. Clear case of state colluding with murderers. Cases are Maya Kodnani vs State of Gujrat. And if State of Gujrat doesn't contest then she would get all what she wants. Convicted for brutal murder of more than 100 people including 35 children, and state of Gujrat didn't even want capital punishment for her, because she was one from their own. Should she be treated any differently from terrorists who kill hundreds and tried for capital punishment?

Number Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Yes, its wrong. But courts have granted bail to convicted terrorists and similar kind of criminals in past. Not the first time.

Because they are not dumb enough to think the death of 100 people can be covered up. Someone had to take the fall. But they have tried their best to make it as easy as possible even for the fall guys

But they have tried their best to make it as easy as possible even for the fall guys she's been in jail for the past seven years. i don't see that as making it easy for the fall guy. and mayaben is not stupid enough to become the fall guy for so long.
CSK Fan Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Like 1984 ? So falls guys were not there in 1984? You have exactly proved my point, big guys remained untouched, fall guys took the bait. But I love all the sympathy for 1984 when not a single member of that riot has been in power since 10 years while in Gujarat we have people like Shah

She was in jail till Congress was in the center. And 7 years for killing 100 people? Even Kasab killed less Indians personally
FischerTal Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 She was in jail till Congress was in the center. And 7 years for killing 100 people? Even Kasab killed less Indians personally she has been convicted for 28 years in jail and thats where she will spend the rest of her life unless she needs to go to a govt hospital for health reasons, which is a facility provided to all convicted criminals. and also, even during the congress at the center, the supreme court extended her bail while the gujarat high court rejected it. now i don't see what the bjp has to do with the supreme court

But never became the fall guys. Instead the fall guys were some no name youth leaders. Congress covered them up very well, so it was possible for BJP too to cover it up like 1984. That was my point. And I don't understand why the discussions should be restricted to just last 10 years.
Raghav_12 Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 then why did state of gujarat provide the evidence to the SIT that led to her conviction? try harder next time. What kind of logic is that ? If Pakistan wasn't serious about punishing people who carried out 26/11 why they would have initiated court proceedings.

So since Kangressiz were not punished for 84 riots Gujarat govt is right in supporting who distributed swords to rampant mob to kill Muslims.. and number 100s of them. Punishment for a single killing is death as per IPC 302 and here for somebody convicted of murders of 100s people say so what she spend 7 years in jail. Just brings numbness.

Prosecution of criminals is matter of state govt. The case was between Maya kodnani vs state of Gujarat.
FischerTal Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 What kind of logic is that ? If Pakistan wasn't serious about punishing people who carried out 26/11 why they would have initiated court proceedings. your logic is that state of gujarat is helping mayaben evade the law. contrary to your pakistan example she has been convicted by an indian court with the help of gujarat government.
FischerTal Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Learn something. Prosecution of criminals is matter of state govt. The case was between Maya kodnani vs state of Gujarat. and she was prosecuted by gujarat government when it aided SIT in her conviction. just in february gujarat high court rejected her bail and then supreme court extended her bail. is supreme court also working with bjp to help mayaben? blind hate for modi isn't going to change the facts no matter how you try to spin it.
