It's about supporting it so that hopefully it grows and improves to the point that you do find it entertaining some day.

Football needs to have the support of the fans. If you're playing in front of empty stadiums, neither will the players be motivated to perform at their best, nor will talented young players be inspired to take up the sport professionally.
