No more of this monkey business of playing IPL, ODIs, World T20 and everything else and then going on to play tests. You need a different temperament and technique to play tests. You need to concentrate for a long period of time and maintain that intensity and performance in tests and if you keep playing other formats, it will affect you severely. If you take test cricket seriously, you should be willing to play only that format. Otherwise, take a hike and play only limited overs.

Becoz test cricket is where cricketers are recognized/more popular in England and get most sponsors from that popularity Even then they have had Peterson Bell Trott in their T20 team when england test team was at its best. Both Aussies and SA have almost identical test T20 batting line ups and they are top 2 test teams

they do but their domestic t20 tourney takes place in the background while international cricket is going on while international cricket comes to stand still when ipl is on
