We are going to have a stiff problem, like many have mentioned, picking the bowlers for the home tests..... I will play 5 bowlers... it is a home series and 5 batters and dhoni are enuf... gangs/lax has to sit out...

4 bowlers should be good enough...you don't need 5 bowlers...its in Delhi so we go with 2 seamers.. Zaheer RP/Sree Kumble Murli.

i think, in home series, the batting can hold its own and we need 5 bowlers to dismiss the opposition twice on flat pitches.... whereas in overseas where our batting is iffy, u need the 6th batter and 4 bowlers can be enuf on helpful pitches....

Let's see if he can maintain these kind of speeds. I hope he doesn't turn into another Nehra. I still don't class him as genuinely quick. He is similar to James Anderson who also can bowl in the early 90's but not on a consistent bass.

Nehra was a one cup wonder..... the WC03 was the only tournament where he clocked over 140..... Sree has been consistently over 140 and of late hitting 145+ regularly with peaks touching 148 almost every match.... he averages around 142-143kph every match, considering his slow balls are very slow - 110kph... Just compare their test records after 10 tests... Nehra has never won us a test on his own... Sree singlehandedly won us a test, tht too in SA...

Absolutely. Bring Sri back. This is freaking frustrating that BCCI babus do no support their tallen. He was illtreated during the Aus series. Rather than helping him to divert his energy towards the game, everyone kinda went after him to tone down. He is genuine quick plus has an attitude that a fast bowlers need these days.
