I think the evangelists have a different definition of "saving" than you and I. But please, continue with your digital farts. I'd rather them being evangelist and having their basic things taken care of than being hindu and being ruled like a subjugated conquered people by india. Perhaps rest of India should also think along the same lines. Lets start with the BIMARU states - equal to sub saharan Africa in most categories. But doesn't that constitute "mainland" India? Damn inconsistencies abound in that silly little narrative there.

They need not stick to traditional media sources like TV for entertainment. Why have your choices curtailed when you can get hold of the best from any country in the world. Lots of people in india and the world over watch japanese and korean drama, japanese anime. Some of them are pretty good too. Entertainment industries of these two countries push their products and there is a huge online community of people who work on translations and subtitles. Some websites have already started to monetize websites offering such entertainment. K-pop and J-pop look a little odd if you are older but i am sure kids wouldn't mind. So thank the internet instead of blaming imaginary korean evangelists for korean songs.
