With the poor pace bowling in 90s, the following pacer must have got a chance , but didnt. 1. Ashish Winston Zaidi. 2. Narenda Hirwani should have got more chances , inspite of his dip in form.

LaxmiRatan Shukla could have been a good allrouder,but I dont think he got many oppurtunities

Raju Kulkarni , Vivek Razdan, Salil Ankola should have got many more chances -they were very talented fast bowlers but not handled well. Fast bowling is not just Brains and it also involves muscles- Live example was Bhuvnesh Kumar, he was over bowled and he performed well in first 3 tests both as a bowler and as a Batsman and then under performed in both bowling and Batting. Bhuvi should not have been picked for fourth and fifth tests or at least shud have been benched for 1 test. what was the need for him to play ALL 5 ODI- that was ridiculous selection. Just See Shammi how well he was bowling in some ODI's. kapil dev who used to play in all Tests ODI had turned into a medium Pacer...he shud have been rested regularly. i can easily see many trundlers under performing or not trying that Hard. Ishant was also a Live example...when he tries Hard - he Suceeds now a days and when he relaxes or over bowls he fails miserably. Select best 5 to 6 pacers and PLAY 3 on rotation basis. Just Check Australia- they never over bowl their pacers and really manage their pacer well. even anderson was bowling under 137K in complete ODI Series and hence He under performed. even his swing with white ball was LESS.
