kabira
captain. He did not even tried himself. He could have bowled few overs. I think he was $hit scared that he might go for some valuable runs. What a negative captain pakistan has and what more they are stuck with him for another year Link to comment
The Outsider
Calling him a coward is too harsh. He isn't the best captain around but is very new to the job and it's good Pakistan have given him a long leash to see if he can develop into a good one. They were not left with many choices after Younis said no and Yousuf absconded to ICL. Link to comment

sm332
yeah a lil harsh too early ... he may very well grow into the role but the big problem for him is that he is far from automatic choice in tests if he had not been cappo Link to comment
Sachinism
he probably realises he isnt any good, so its not worth bowling and giving runs away yeh he could have tried but it wouldnt have made a difference anyway Link to comment
The Outsider
Yousuf went to ICL way after Malik was appointed. In Tests? There was still speculation over Yousuf before the Test series against SA, IIRC. Link to comment

The Outsider
Malik has made both the test and the ODI captain. Oh ok. Thought he was just made ODI captain during the Abu Dhabi series. Link to comment
Ram
Shoaib Malik's place in the test team Is not all that black and white me thinks. He hasnt bowled a ball in this match and somehow, I am not able to see him as a test-class batsman. How difficult is it to lead your team , when its losing consistently and even worse , your own place in it is under a cloud ? Watch this space...... Link to comment
