I fail to understand this argument. Who will decide which is marginal and which is not. Once there is technology' date=' our tolerance for error reduces a lot. Very soon, each and every decision will be referred to the third umpire just like all the run outs now a days are referred.[/quote'] That's why some decisions are left to the on-field umpire's call. If a marginal decision is referred, there are rules in place to check if the technology alone can be relied upon solely to make the decision. If no, the on-field umpire's call stands. If players are dumb enough to refer a marginal call, they lose the review. Onus is on them to exercise restraint, and refer only the absolute howlers.

Unfortunately many a times, they use it for 50 50 chances and regret later.
