Don
People who follow Mumbai cricket might have figured by now that Salvi is back and in good form, picking up a lotta wickets. When he was around last time it was said that he has a Mcgrathesque action. But is the new avatar of Salvi Asifesque?, check out the pics! Link to comment
Holysmoke
No offense, but he looks like a real gunda! :eyedance: Link to comment

Ram
Please dont insult Asif's bowling prowess by comparing him to Salvi... Link to comment
Predator_05
He looks like a carbon copy of Asif. How great would it be if he turns out to be as good as Asif. I am assuming that he has improved a lot since he last played for India in the TVS Cup Link to comment
bharat297
Doesnt he bowl at like 110kmh ... like its a bit embarrassing when your a front-line paceman the same pace as Ganguly Link to comment
Sachinism
lol i remember him wanting to be mcgrath lets see if he's improved at all Link to comment
Don
Please dont insult Asif's bowling prowess by comparing him to Salvi... Please dont insult any bowlers bowling prowess by comparing him to Asif, how can u compare a honest guy to a druggie. In any case I meant his action, i m not excatly saying Salvi is the next asif. Link to comment
Sachinism
asif maybe a druggie, but IMO he's probably the best pace bowler around Link to comment
praveenj
hoho on that.... there are lot more bowlers than him those who can swing and seam simultaneously too... did you forget pollock dude?? Link to comment
Sachinism
i dont think pollock is as lethal as he was you see a lot of batsmen nowadays come down the track and just hit down the line dont get me wrong, he is still a very good bowler, but i dont think he is as good as he was Link to comment
praveenj
alright, but when compared to Asif, he's far more better... He is one of those bowlers who could give an early break through for certain... May be we need a statistician here... hey boss, can you post some stats about the bowlers who got wickets early in an innings the most number of tmies... Link to comment
ludhianvi
I think he almost made his debut but had an injury or something Link to comment

I think Pollock is more disciplined but Asif has more talent I feel. He bowls the best cutters I have seen in a long long time. Link to comment
praveenj
i think you saw the way dravid was castled down in the recent test series against SA... he really troubled sachin too... greame smith got comments from all around for not giving pollock the new ball... for asif, i'll have to feel for his pace only... rest, he's really good... you saw the first T20 match against Pak.. dinesh karthik hit for fours over extra cover consistently.... he is so predictable with his length... Ram
Salvi is just useless. His only claim to fame is his is run-up which resembes Glenn Mcgrath's Its a shame he played for India. Link to comment
ludhianvi
I think Munaf also re-modeled his bowling action on McGrath's Link to comment
praveenj
OMG, Munaf Patel looks like an ageing cricketer when he walks back to his mark... Link to comment
