I read sometime that Goa has 1 bar per 100 people .....or was it per 10 ....:nervous: Mahe, a district of Pondicherry borders south end of Kerala...the Mahe region, which has a population of 30000 plus has 94 licensed shops! and just add those arrack and toddy shops and you get humongous number.The fact of the matter is that 80% of the liqour in that state is either consumed by the Keralaites and illegally transported to various parts of the state.
