The problem with Indian fast bowlers is they are lone warriors rather than wolf packs which we have in Australia. A phaast new Australian bowler is persisted more than an Indian bowler because they have a cushion of another phaast bowler bowling from the other end. India doesn't have that luxury - of course, you can view this as a vicious cycle. But, our phaast bowlers need to step up for it! I am disappointed with Shami too. He is running and just "putting the ball there". No incision and completely benign.

Shami is lacking fitness and has a lot of technical issues too. Bowling too needs concentration which they are lacking.
