vijay50 Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Its a shame that there is no back up days for rain hit game. Aus lost points against Bang and looks like it will interfere in SA -Pak match also. Are there any back up days in QF for match lost due to rain. Looks like rain will save Pak this time too. Same as 1992.ICC did not learn.
Cricket_Hacker Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 it is eating into AFL time i think.Aussie stadiums are multi-purpose
PBN Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 I think for the QFs, the higher ranked team qualifies if the match is rained out
brendan07 Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Correct. Higher ranked team goes though in the event of rain.
YCCC Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Is that the highest ranked in the ICC rankings or the team that finished highest in the two pools?
brendan07 Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Is that the highest ranked in the ICC rankings or the team that finished highest in the two pools? Two pools. Everyone is re-seeded after the pools. So as it stands right now the re seeding would be: 1. NZ 2. India 3. SA 4. Australia NRR is the breaker if they are on equal points. I'm assuming NZ have a higher NRR, although I haven't checked.
