Reason I sorta like Sanjay is he once tweeted something very nice. 'the second team closest to my heart is Pakistan' If only some of the Indians on here could show such behaviour.

Not this current pathetic team (Wahab and Misbah are much admired). I don't think Pakistan has a lot of neutral fans right now. If and when Pak team becomes competitive and professional, they will have a lot of fans in India and around the world. Some will never like India/Pakistan team for political reasons and they are right to the extent that a team represents its country.

One thing I don't understand is... What's up with the whole idea of calling someone as having inferiority complex? Sounds like this term is handed out too easily. Any specific examples on why everyone says Manjrekar has inferiority complex? He didn't give credit to Kane Williamson too.

I have the misfortune of following Manju's commie career. The observation that he evolved from being a "yes man" to a "brave man" is spot on. With Harsha, it is obvious that he is painfully aware of being a non-cricketer and that he suffers from the imposter syndrome. With Manju, it appears that he has an inferiority compex from how he interprets the individual milestones records/stats on screen and more damagingly, how he psychoanalyzes the players nearing milestones. With Manju, I don't get the sense that his recollections of his playing days are nostalgic trips or analytical comparisons but regrets, disappointments and anger. He was always passive aggressive towards Sachin. And, occasionally he comes off as one of those self-hating desis. A real piece of work our Manju is.

I also remember in one of the recent world cup games when Manju was doing Hindi commentary with Akhtar and Kapil paaji, he would often keep complaining to Akhtar that how Pakistan is the only gem in the world with fast bowlers and how should India learn from them, Kapil paaji lost his patience and took Manju's case by saying that he should also discuss as to how can Pakistan learn from India's batting talent and improve theirs.
