Good point. One way to keep the choke tag for NZ is to say that they "literally" choked biting more than they could chew. That is, get to the SF and be out of their depth, luck, ideas, and form. Not 1992 & 2015 but editions. Come what may, we will have a first time finalist on Tuesday.

None of us got it exactly right. But SA is not a team to disappoint. I know this might seem harsh but when the dust settles and cricketing history is written, this will be termed a new kind of choke. That too a choke from SA's strongest unit, fielding: missed run-outs, dropped catches, collisions. And then their gun bowler loses it and bowls length balls in a matchbox sized ground. Feel sorry for the Saffers. Rain gods hate them with passion and they should consult some Babaji in India to perform some kind of jala yagna to appease them.
