India is so rich in epics and mythologies. Why do you need to remake what is now a directionless show' date=' that needs boobs and unexpected killings to keep things going?[/quote'] nailed it :two_thumbs_up:

how will they handle incest?
Ouch!! It will really be great fun seeing them do this on Indian television.
They won't. The characters won't be related and the kid will see them typing rakhi, hence making them secret brother and sister. Instead of throwing the kid off, they will give him some milk with a sedative which will make him forget his memory.

when you have a historical show with too many seasons and runs for thousands of mins, you are bound to break those historical tropes. Remember, almost every character is archetype or stereotype. the twists are good when it's a mix of subtle and gut punching ones. But here we see twists coming from 200 miles and we get the twist spaghetti. Even with the twists, the entire aesop of the show is just too pointless and lazy.

A historically accurate depiction of the last 600 years of Indian history will be more horrific and brutal than anything portrayed on GOT.

How is every charecter a stereotype? Pray tell? In fact it is the opposite of stereotype The handsome, dashing great warrior and head of kingsgaurd - sleeps with his sister and tries to kill a kid The ugly dwarf - The most chivalrous of the lot. Yet we know what he did The great warrior planning for years to kill the person who killed and raped his sister - Didn't go as planned And if you claim that you saw all the twists coming miles away either you are the only one in the world or lying. And who said there is an Aesop? Why should there be an Aesop in every show? It is just a game of thrones.

BTW, it is clear the people I am replying to haven't read the books. It is like seeing the new Mahabharat on Star Plus and trying to understand the intricacies of the epic
