CG Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Looked really tired got up to 141ks where as the whole tourney his increase of pace to 140-146 was the reason and alos bowled badly at the death.
MK55 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 His lack of pace and intensity definitely surprised me. Ideally he should have stepped up a gear in a semi final like the way Yadav had. He still bowled reasonably well with the new ball but his inability to take wickets hurt us a lot. I hope he is not too fatigued as we need him for his striking ability. For that we need him around 90 mph.
Sid Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 He started well, but lost the steam in the later half.Just a bad day ,hota hai.
zep1706 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 He looked fatigued. His pace was 5-6 kph down on average. It was pretty clear right from the beginning. Not sure what the problem was.
vvvslaxman Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 In a match situation it is difficult to control certain things. You go with an idea, sometimes it totally backfires on you which is what happened. Once you lose the plot you probably don't have plan B and you get hurt even more. This is pretty much like what we had in 2003 final. Indian bowlers were in red hot form in 2003 too.
