For instance whole world is in awe of development work done under Modi Juti-Gram < Sujala-sufala, virtually zero drop-out from school.. Question is have you ever seen any dcumentaries on these detailing how these things were acheived.. I guess not.. For these morons theses are not news A judge issues summons to god people in bihar in India are taking law completely in their own hands.... Oh my god this is such a shocker. Its pathetic. Another one blaming politicians. I am one of the fiercest Modi critics here, but let me also say that in the end Modi did not take a sword and kill all those people did he? It was the ordinary citizen of India that killed his fellow citizen. Yes Modi has his own issues to face but what the citizens? The deterioration is everywhere, right from middle class to Industrialists, why blame politicos only? Check out the Bangalore thread. xxx

Mostly criticims for politicians comes from the crowd who plan picninc on election day, this is the biggest irnoy. The same crowd will look down upon you if you talk about politics, it's slur apparently left for the politicians alone not to be touched by decent middle-class. Question is we chose the path of indifference when it matterd, so why whine when it goes wrong. Just live with it..

Tell me about it. Studied in Patna Science College. The best candidate to win back then was Shailendra Nath Shrivastava. BJP guy and a professor. Has been MP for a couple of occassions, with good clean record(overall). Plus supposedly 2-3 lakhs of fellow caste members to seal the deal. Election ke din a few hundred goons hold everyone to ransome. The 3 lakh set of people stays indoors, Shrivastava saab gets kicked out and RamKripal Yadav is in Parliament. Welcome to social-justice! xxx

And that could happen in proper Patna imagine about the happenstance is in far-flung areas.. Moreover at least in patna they have excuse of threats from goons but in New delhi nothing of that sort exists people choose to go to picnic making conscious choice. BTW In Australia voting in addtion to being right is also a political privilege and you can be punished for not exercising it..

Didnt know that but if true I would like to see it happen in other parts of the world. Sometime back I read how villages in Himachal Pradesh travelled 72 km to cast their votes. On the other hand people in US just tend to get cynical about voting and rarely does the voting touches 50% mark. Seriously it is high time Democratic society started asking for duties just as well as it gives its citizens rights.
