That requires some dedication and application. Not many people have been able to sustain the hunger for runs for that long. Batsman today have a lot of things in their favor compared to 10/15 years ago - shorter grounds, fielding restrictions, bowling restrictions, fast outfield, free hit, power play, etc. Plus, the advent of T20 has completely changed the mindset, and has made the players more aggressive today. This has resulted in higher avg's/strike rates. Back in 80s & mid 90s, 240/250 was a very good score. Teams scoring 50 in 15-17 overs, and 100 in 27-33 overs was pretty normal. Back then, majority of greats had avg.s in mid 30s or high 30's. Very few managed avg's above 40. I think all these things need to be taken into consideration when rating Sachin.

This phrase is used for things like videos, articles etc which consume your time without giving much value in return and you say in return you received "time pass". For example you read a long article with expectation of some new learning. But if you find that article to be rather mundane without any new information, you can say that was "TPIR" article.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I did hear from a lot of people who liked the video, since they were not aware of these things. The video primarily is for an avg. cricket fan. In fact I thought some of the stuff would be new even for the most passionate fans. But, it seems you follow the game closely. Happy to meet another cricket buff!
