Having kicked out seniors from ODIs when he became captain, he should now kick himself out applying the same standards. No point in hanging on based on past glory alone.

Dhoni needs to get rid of the finisher tag now if he wants to extend his career. Hitting fours and sixes frequently is required of a good finisher and that requires a lot of power. Obviously with his increasing age Dhoni doesn't have it in him to get 30 of 15 balls and win the game. Ideally he needs to promote him up the order and play as a proper batsman. Even in the world cup he had a few good knocks only while playing slowly. I don't remember in recent times when he got some runs very quickly to finish off a game.
