Being competitive is a good thing unless you come across as arrogant as those taklu twins.

Yeah, but I have noticed that whenever some kid shows his talent, Ranvijay gets khujli to show the kid how he can do it better. I know it's his inherent competitive nature, but I don't find it very nice. He sees everyone as a challenge which screams insecurity to me. Not saying he is a bad guy, but I find that part a little irritating.
