Actually there is one film where he co-directed. But he disowns that film as he was assistant director there and merely completed the few portions of the film when the original director was unable to finish it. But this film is hard to get by with English subtitle so didn't bother with it

I'd forgotten that you finished seeing all 30. I haven't quite got there yet... somewhere in the mid to high 20s I think. interesting to hear about this co-directed film.

Watched Rashomon a masterpiece from the legend. Had quite an expectation on this film after reading this thread yet it didn't disappoint me. Might watch more of his works in the future.

I am sure you will enjoy them. Seven Samurai is also awesome, but very long. You should also try Ikiru.
