Singh bling Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Chanda Kochar wants to make MBAs easier for women because they aren't good at math!bcclChanda Kocchar believes that MBAs need to make it easier for women to join, by reducing the quantitative element in MBA B-school entrances. Most reputed institutes holding MBA tests focus on QA (Quantitative Analysis), data interpretation, logical reasoning and verbal ability while selecting students. 'QA includes trigonometry, quadratic equations, logarithm etc.In a speech, she stated: "The MBA entrance exams are so quantitative-oriented that it keeps out more and more women from joining the MBA classes. If we were to make the entrance exams more all-rounded you could see more participation."Does she not know the importance of game theory, probability, data driven business decision making? Does she seriously think that we need to compromise this, in favour of someone who’s good at comprehension and English? http://www.indiatimes.com/news/india/chanda-kochhar-thinks-mba-entrances-should-be-made-easier-for-women-as-they-suck-at-maths-wtf-247238.htmlHad any man has said this the feminist brigade would have made mince meat of him , Now what will they do when a female icon is saying this
randomGuy Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 MBA in finance needs slightly more math than an MBA in HR which probably needs zero Math ( both for men and women of course).
