Srinath started the trend, but Zaheer took it to a different level when he, around 2007 till atleast 2010,2011 was the world's top bowler. No other Indian pace bowler has reached that height and no other indian pace bowler has created the havoc in batsmen mind as Zak did.We are stating the top 10 players from India...so there is a limitation there.As you have rightly pointed out...Zaheer had around 4 impactful years. I would have considered him if he had a couple more years at the top.As it stands...he would be around 11th or 12th on my list.
