HippoSucks
What shifting a goal post? I have always said he is ftb and trundler Just Tell me how many runs he scored in championship trophy in 2013 on English seaming pitches?? Below par right? How many runs did he scored on 2014 tours of s.a. and nz ? Below par right? And in Australia 2015 WC ? Why did he failed on fast Perth pitch vs west indies? Why he failed against quality of south African pacers?? How many did he scored against pakistan? Why did he failed against Pakistan on greenish bouncy pitch where kohali showed his class The problem is that his failours are totally forgotten by us Indian fans When he scores those 200s 300s 400s on flat tracksThe problem is that his successes in difficult conditions in LOIs are forgotten due to his test failures. How about his 83 against Bangladesh on a difficult pitch where Kohli didn't score? Picking out specific innings like this is meaningless, especially when the player has played 203 LOIs. I can come up with 20 innings where Sachin failed on a difficult pitch. Will you consider him a FTB because of that? It seems like you do not rate Rohit very highly. Despite that, you want him to score double centuries in ODIs on tough pitches which no one has ever done? Link to comment
express bowling
Why are big runs at high SR on flat tracks so looked down upon ?We are getting lots of flat tracks these days and need players who can win matches there. It is not as if every batsman is consistently scoring big runs at high SR on flat tracks. Not many batsmen, especially from Asia , can dominate quick bowlers on bouncy tracks even when there isn't consistent seam and swing. We hardly see any green tracks anymore. Most of the LOI matches are played in flat tracks now a days. We need players who can bully the bowling in these kinda pitches. express bowling 1 Link to comment
Debutant
Just to continue the above point. People here are going gaga over that Amir's spell against India. Wasn't that a green pitch, ideal for fast bowling. Why not have the same yardsticks for a bowler. The hypocrisy is astounding. express bowling and Rightarmfast 2 Link to comment
