What an idiot !

Yuvraj supposedly has an attitude problem. But, in my opinion, he is not the idiot. The "manager," who thinks this is public information is the real idiot. This guy is turning out to be another manager with no integrity a la Greg Chappell. Have they never heard of "what happens in the dressing room stays in the dressing room"? http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/ausvind/content/current/story/328280.html

Lalu Rajput needs to shut his trap....he is a non entity, and set to go home soon. He is frustrated that BCCI had ignored his coach application twice, and trying to cause dissent. ANY cricket manager saying to the press that a key player has an attitude problem, needs to be sacked

Oh will you people shut up! Yuvraj has an attitude problem' date=' where is the damage in making that public? It is not like he is mentally unfit to play, he just has a slight problem, which will be fixed in due course.[/quote'] where was that "attitude problem" when he came in at 60-4 and blasted 169 in the one off test where he got a chance ? where was it during the ODI series against Aussies and Pak and during T20 ??

Yuvraj in trouble Yuvraj faces talk, then the walk INDIA'S interim coach, Lalchand Rajput, will read the riot act to recalcitrant batsman Yuvraj Singh, whose attitude during the Boxing Day Test infuriated members of the Indian side. Yuvraj's air of indifference — not to mention his failures with the bat — look likely to cost him his place in the Indian middle order, with Virender Sehwag or Dinesh Karthik set to be drafted in to open the innings, and the out-of-sorts Rahul Dravid likely to move into his more customary role down the order. "Yes, there's a problem with Yuvraj's attitude," Rajput said. "We will have to have a one-on-one with him in Sydney." Yuvraj was fortunate to escape a fine from International Cricket Council match referee Mike Procter, after lingering at the crease long after Billy Bowden adjudged him caught behind for a first-innings duck. Procter ruled Yuvraj's actions as shock, not dissent, although he might have had cause to alter his stance after the 26-year-old again stood his ground after Brad Hogg trapped him leg-before for five in the second innings. But whereas Yuvraj's low scoring might have been tolerated, his languid performance in the field was not. As one of the younger members of the Indian side, Yuvraj was relied upon to provide athleticism and precision during the Australian innings, but he proved little more than a liability. Rajput confirmed changes to India's batting order were likely after the 337-run defeat by Australia in Melbourne, but he declined to outline his intentions until he had seen the SCG pitch. Foreshadowing his intentions for the second Test, Rajput was vocal in his support of Dravid, suggesting the former skipper would hold his place in the side, albeit not in the opening role he occupied in Melbourne. Dravid appeared a shadow of the batsman who dominated the Australians in recent years, most notably on India's previous tour to these shores in 2003-04, combining for 21 runs from 180 deliveries across the two innings. "I won't say it's any technical problem, it's just in the mind," Rajput said of Dravid. "Because, when a batsman goes through a lean patch, when he can't get runs, I think that's the area he has to work on. "I'm sure he'll bounce back because he's a tremendous cricketer; everybody knows it. He was the 'Wall' of the country and it's only a matter of time that he's going through a lean phase, but I'm sure he'll come back strongly." Rajput conceded the brittle opening partnership between Dravid and Wasim Jaffer placed pressure on the remainder of India's batsmen at the MCG, raising the likelihood of Sehwag or Kartik slotting in at the top of the order. Rajput, though, was confident his side would provide a better showing in Sydney. "We will definitely be coming back very strongly next game," he said. "It is very important we work on that because there are two strategies in cricket: one is to be defensive and one is to be offensive. "In the first Test we were a bit defensive, but definitely we will come back very strong because we have some strategies, which I cannot tell you now, but we will be back strongly." http://www.theage.com.au/news/cricket/yuvraj-faces-talk-then-the-walk/2007/12/30/1198949675064.html

Yuvraj Singh, who had a poor Test against Australia in Melbourne, is in the news following reports that the Indian team management is unhappy with his attitude. However, Lalchand Rajput, India's assistant coach, has denied reports that have appeared in the Melbourne-based Age. "Yes, there's a problem with Yuvraj's attitude," the Age quoted India's assistant coach Lalchand Rajput as saying. "We will have to have a one-on-one with him in Sydney." However, MV Sridhar, the assistant manager of the Indian team, vehemently denied these reports when contacted by Cricinfo. "Rajput has never said anything of the sort. He has not made a comment about Yuvraj. There is no problem with his attitude." Rajput too issued a denial while speaking to Indian news channel, CNN-IBN. http://content-aus.cricinfo.com/ausvind/content/current/story/328280.html

See? Rajput isnt stupid to ruin any chance of keeping his job with the team by making such statements. I wonder if bcci and the team have a case to sue the piss outta that paper?

I won't be surprised if the team indeed is upset with poster boy. But Rajput should shut his precious trap shut.Ithink he might have blurted out something "off camera"and had the team even more upset. Or it could all be a media creation. The aussie media afterall is a big part of the gameplan. If rajput didn't say it...bcci should take the paper to court. But I doubt that will happen.
