Has Dhoni's slow batting cost us the match?

I think it was Dhoni's inability to hit boundaries in the death overs has really cost us the match. Out of the 9 deliveries he faced, only one ball has reached the boundary. What was the need for him to bat ahead of Pandya, or even Raina?

Dhoni is not a power hitter anymore..he does well to provide stability and convert singles in two and help us get over the line when required rate is reachable..his keeping is good so he does add some value to the team and must play..but his captaincy should be ended and Kohli made the captain...Raina and then Dhoni/panda should have come.

 

there was no need for Dhoni to bat over Raina..at that pt we could afford to throw some wickets
