The Windies team that is :)

They are a fun, cool and power filled team. Very inconsistent though, but part of the package.

Were the Windies of 70s and 80s as "cool" as the current ones? Or were they more "dont mess with me" types?

 

(Kaattan = muscular rogue, can be said in a cute way, machas and machis = Krish sreekanth and Namitha terminology for dudes)

If Viv's earlier pics are any indication, they were a fun team as well but off the field..on field they were scary..the bowlers that is...

On a tangential note: In 2014 World T20, Australian all-rounder James Faulkner had remarked, “I don’t particularly like them” ahead of their match against West Indies. The Caribbeans used this as a spur and hammered the Aussies in a big chase, with Sammy clubbing Faulkner for a winning six.

 

Aussies and Eng are very rascist in how they do things, and glad Faulkner and Nicholas eat humble pie.

Basically, don't say anything that gets them fired up...this should be the lesson to all cricketers, pundits etc
