Unfortunately, will miss out on Indian athletes performance this time as I am abroad. I wanted to watch the events where Indian athletes participate. :(

It's an upper kilogramme category that last Olympics...won't be easy at all...I would say there is a very bleak chance of a medal.

Modi has flagged off Run for Rio today.

He has requested the youth to start preparing for Tokyo 2020 and wants atleast 200 players to qualify.

I wouldn't read too much into Western media scare-mongering. Yes not everything is perfect and things could have been a lot better but western media has a tendency of over the top fear mongering when events like this are held anywhere outside their preferred countries. There are small issues everywhere, they just don't report faulty showerhead stories when such games are in Western countries. Remember how an Australain TV station actually planted a story during the CWG in Delhi to make it look bad? Just watch this video
