Ponting had a deep point when India were 60-1 even though Australia have more than 450 runs on the board. Its always been the same **** even with Ganguly - Dravid was slightly better, he used to introduce third man pretty early. As for bowling changes in general I thought he brought himself on too late on some occasions but overall there isn't too much to complain about.

The Outsider Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I don't see anything wrong with the OP. In fact, I would argue Laxman should have been made captain ahead of Kumble. The man has a superb record captaining at all levels, is a good reader of the game etc. and seems to fill all the requirements of a good captain. Not saying Kumble is doing a bad job, but Laxman is a god choice as well.
