Nathan Lyon's future

Australia is missing a trick by sticking with Nathan Lyon, he has been horrible almost pitching onto the pads and its a joke to face him for Pakistani players. 

I don't know why they aren't selecting Steve O'Keefe instead, he is type of bowler Pakistan has history of struggling against?

I have seen a bit of Aus domestic and feel, Lyon is still their best spinner. 

 

Plus recent "Niice Garry" movement is spreading like crazy in Australia and soon whole of Australia wouldn't want him to be replaced ever, at least for next year or two.

 

 

Back to topic, Ashton Agar, had he improved his bowling, had the potential to be like Jadeja as he is a really good bat. He had the ability to keep even Zampa out of the ODI side but he has had his struggles in FC and list A games. Even in Big Bash he has batted better than he has bowled.

 

Lyon has to be kept for India tour. He is their best option still.

Lyon and Zampa will do well in India, better than Ali and Rashid I think.
