He will still have clout even after SC is done with BCCI. All proxies are being propped up to take places of powerful BCCI officials.

Very likely.... but people in official positions tend to wield more power as there are lots of other people, who are not full-time supporters,  who want to please them.

 

Srini looking after India's interests at the ICC , without any direct influence on team selection etc. of Team India,  could have been beneficial for Indian cricket, but that would be too theoretical a scenario.
