This is my list in order of merit of the most destructive batsmen of all from the Asian sub-continent.Not asessed for pure class or records but for sheer domination of bowling or destructivity.Strike rtae is a strong criteria,in addition to level of opposition and impact.

Sehwag
Jayasuriya
Afridi
Rohit Sharma
Kohli
Tendulkar
Mushtaq Ali
Anwar
Inzamam
Aravinda De Silva
Kapil Dev
Dhoni
Shrikanath
Zaheer Abbas
Azharuddin
Navjot Singh Sidhu
Gundappa Vishwanath
Majid Khan
Salim Malik

Viru at the top because he caused a blitzkreig for a sustained duration more than anyone.Jaya gave a new definition to batting with explosive hitting from 1996.Afridi set a stadium on fire like a Hercules God arriving.Tendulkar took domination to a crescendo never at the cost of supreme finesse.Kolhli manipulated afield like few could ever do,exhibiting batting intelligence rarely seen.Mushtaq Ali was the supreme stylist resembling a circus acrobat or magician.Rohit Sharma in recent times looked most like Viv Richards .Inzamam often carried the bat like a bludgeon.Anwar in full flow took domination to heights of divinity.Aravinda De Silva was artistry personified who could dissect the most impregnable fields.Kapil Dev could craete a hurricane with his great power.

Some of the Batsmen on that list were good batsmen, never felt destructive. They may have had a few games where the strike rate was 120+. By that rate even Dravid was explosive.. lol. He played some masterful innings with well over run a ball SR when it was not the norm.

Dravid has his name fastest odi 50 for India. It's amusing to see sidhu, desilva ,bunch of jehadi but no Yuvraj Singh.

Tendulkar had similar strike rate (91.43) to jayasurya (93.80) in 90s as opener with average of almost 50. Today odi greats like rohit and kohli have similar strike rate to what tendulkar & viv had 20+ years ago.
