He could have easily given this tournament a miss after the 100 in the 2nd test, but he's still decided to play to get some form. P.S; Just noticed Dinesh Karthik has TWO 100s in this match. Good signs for our squad. The competition is really heating up. P.S 2; VVS is slated to come in at no.10 in the second innings. Is he injured? Did he not take field in Central Zone's first innings? Bombay in the final, and looked very impressive) and Pankaj Singh rocked the SZ top order and had them at 24/3 - effectively 24/4 with Laxman unlikely to bat. One thing for Dravid to just make runs in domestics, another to make runs against a pretty impressive attack (Chawla aside) when his team's in that sort of trouble. Link to comment
rahulrulezz Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 ye looo.. ab isi ki kammi thi....Ab agle 5 test matches ke like Dravid to pakka set... in the same match, Kartik slapped all those domestic phaast bowler to pieces with two centuries while hamare Dravid Bhaisahab, first innings made huge 7 Runs and in 2nd made that turtley 118 in 220 balls... and notice how noone notices Kartiks performance....wth man, there is so much talent in our domestic circuit..so many players are toiling hard just to play one match for India and yet we keep choosing our Tooti Phooti Wall.. i have immense respect for Dravid but its time he should give chance to some new prospect..
