Gambit
If SRT had Punter's luck when it came to 50/50, 40/60, even 0.5/99.5 decisions, his average would be close to 90 today. Link to comment

living
Seriously though, it's not funny. Had the umpire not screwed up on that decision, we could have easily have been 300/2 at the end of day's play. We 'could' have batted Aus out of the game. IMO denied again, by umpires. :bawling: Link to comment

dial_100
No there were enuff doubts in both the occassions. First time it was clipping bells on the leg stump. and second time it was about 4-5 in above the off stump and the impact was outside the off stump. Link to comment

The closest he came to being lucky was when the ball would barely touch the top of the bails, and those decisions go in the favor of the batsman at least 80% of the time. Link to comment

I was responding to the stupidity of saying SRT was plumb and saved. It was far from being plumb even with full technology. Link to comment
MundaPakistani
There was one debatable one that went his way yesterday. In the last match he was plumb at 25 or 26(off the bowling of M Clarke) but was not given and went on to score 154* So overall Sachin should be more than happy with his 'umpiring luck' on this tour. MundaPakistani
As a team India got the raw deal. No doubt about it. Link to comment

MundaPakistani
Sachin plumb against clarke mate when bat and pad are together not many dare to give out.. umm...bat was no where close to the ball. He was caught on the crease with the ball hitting middle and leg stump. Link to comment
living
That was plumb, if there was any question it was whether the ball had straightened enough - which it had. Link to comment
kabira
on this wicket, day 1 no one should be given LBW unless its pitched up, only plumb one was the dravid one when Johnson tried to york him.. If its not pitched up or full, there will be doubt whether it will hit stumps or not. Link to comment
