Why is pak a benchmark?  

 

KL Rahul, V.Shankar,R.Pant,S.Samson,I.Kishan, 

K.Yadav,Y.Chahal and dare I say the golden son- prince Karun Nair are all good enough to play against bigger teams like Eng,Aus,SA,Nzl

 

infact Rahul has performed against big teams so have Yadav and Chahal

Some of the names you mentioned are not benchwarmers.
