Indian Bowling Approach needs to change.

The latest trend in ODIs is flat tracks, quick outfield and generally very good batting conditions. Bats are becoming humongous and batsmen are fearless and innovative. So how good is strategy to choke runs and create pressure and expect batsman to throw his wicket away.Because it is bound to fail more often especially against better teams and batsmen or even against lesser teams when they just take chances.

 

Is it a conscious strategy based on thinking our bowlers don't have enough skills? 

 

Personally feel we need to move on from this mentality. Bring in those bowlers who can take wickets.Those who don't waste time and overs in trying to keep quiet modern day batsmen.

The problem is with team selection.We have bhuvi who is miser at giving runs but does not pick wickets and bumrah who is masterful at death to compliment them we needed shami/Umesh who are strike bowlers and can take wickets with new ball.Add kuldeep yadav and pandya as 5 bowler we have a strong attack.
