Is Jadeja honestly the best ODI spinner we have?

He was very good in the past on spinning tracks, but I feel he has declined even on that front. And he is certainly not, at this moment, our best ODI spinner.

Not our best spinner for sure. 

At this point we are in hunt of best- kuldeep looks like but has to perform over a time or else he wud be also having several threads here

 

Jadeja is at best a good defensive n containing bowler on flat wkts which are 90% in world. He wont give much runs and save runs in field also he creates a runout opp or a gr8 catch to. So for example he gives 40 - 55 runs in 10 overs generally and then saves 5-10 runs in field ......if ull analyise he wud look as a good n "kifayiti" option. 

 

N he cud slog a 2-3 shots or atleast run quick which is not bad for a no.8 . When u compare him to ashwin or mishra he comes across as better option due to fielding n knowing his limitations. Bowling of mishra n ashwin has its own many issues . 

 

About his avg of 36, well bhuvi has almost 38. 

 

For me he shud be at max their as a second spinner for time being till chahal earns it or we decide to go with him irrespective of results. 

 

Jadeja aint a bad options if u see him as a variety of someone who can hold one end up. 

 

We need to look at him differently. So lower ur expectation when it comes to jadeja

 

If ur judging him as all rounder- stop it he aint one

If ur judging him as an attacking spinner- dnt , he can only be on turners. 

 

He is someone with limitations, view him like that. He is a bits and pieces utility crickters which has its place in loi cricket

 

 

I see people having lot of expectation from him and i wanna ask after 10 yrs also u have such high expectations . Like really???
