Rajan
of their wood work ... we won this without zak & SS ... Ouch Suck on that  i am sure SS and Zak would have been quite an handful on this pitch. Link to comment
kabira
missing Zak when he was top of his game was big blow for India...But our young pace attack...19,21,22 year old guys making it happen... Link to comment
msb1991
I just want to point out that I do not massively rate either Zaheer or Sreesanth in Tests. They are both good, but not as great as they have been rated. Zaheer had done little besides the England series recently (Bangladesh and Zimbabwe don't count). Sreesanth has had two Test good series interspliced with two average ones. Link to comment
mhr123
Yah But If Zak Was In Either Pathan Or RP Wud Be Warming The Benches. I Am Not Sure If Zak Was available They would Have Played All Left Armers. Link to comment
coffee_rules
If Zak and Sree were present, Ishant and Pathan wouldn't have played. Link to comment
Guest Yograj Singh
Dear BossBhai, Please note that while the losses of Zaheer and Sreesanth were made up for, India still went in missing one of their finest young batsmen. Yes - the wonderful Yuvraj Singh, a man BORN TO PLAY TEST CRICKET, sat on the bench throughout - most likely with a near-crippling knee injury that he'll battle in order to be with the one day side. This is a young man who has inspired India to so many one day wins, and recently a test series win in Pakistan with one of the greatest knocks by any Indian batsman in a test. So what if it was against Yasir Arafat and Mohammad Sami? It was still a truly electrifying innings and the pinnacle of strokeplay and batsmanship. India could have been crippled in Perth without him. That they won is a true testament to the other 11 players who came to terms with the shocking omission of Yuvraj, and then still went on with their games despite the sudden change in odds. When Yuvi returns, India will be even more lethal! Link to comment
