Serani Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 Yes but I actually contribute to the discussions, some of the recent posters actually signed up with the sole objective to troll, they are never going to contribute anything and can barely string a few sentences together in english.
Desi Cartman Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 whenever I open a thread on my mobile device, it automatically subscribes me to it .. at present I have over 10 threads subscribed :--D .. Also, can we please have the ability to quote other posts using mobile device
Sachinism Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 My phone allows me to quote without subscribing :aetsch:
Don Sharma Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Is there an option to change the times from GMT to IST?
Hindustani Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Which script causes auto-refresh of the pages every 10 seconds (or something like that) ? it is very irritating
Gunner_Mania Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Is there an option to change the times from GMT to IST? It should be whatever is set in your user profile.
Gunner_Mania Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 My phone allows me to quote without subscribing :aetsch: Even I am unable to use the quote feature if I use the mobile skin.
Don Sharma Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 It should be whatever is set in your user profile. Yeah, I was dumb to have it set as 'GMT' when I registered :(.
Gunner_Mania Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Yeah' date=' I was dumb to have it set as 'GMT' when I registered :(.[/quote'] so you haven't changed it for such a long time - over 2 yrs???
Don Sharma Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 so you haven't changed it for such a long time - over 2 yrs??? No :((
Manny_Pacquiao Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 why am i being given warnings for calling a paki a chewtiya when the moderators on this site use the same language against each other all the time?
Hindustani Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 To stop/cut down spam, members with <2 post should NOT be allowed to start new threads
Gunner_Mania Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 For the past two days everytime I use IE to open any thread, I get a message the operation is aborted and it shows me a page cannot be found. Once I click the back button it works fine. Has something changed on the site over the last 2-3 days. Don't have this problem on other browser. and No don't ask me why I am using IE :beee:
Sir john Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 need of a light forum screen, i see it few day back, but it is not there now.:((
Gunner_Mania Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Screenshot of the problem I mentioned.
gaurav92 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 ^That happens with me as well sometimes, i ve switched to Mozilla :) And Mods. can we give the Paavarz of Changing the Title to the Thread Starter as well along with the mods. because one slight mistake made by a thread maker and he has to wait for mods to correct it.
Sachinism Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 You can edit it yourself (I think) If you double-click the white area around the thread title (when viewing the thread in the forum, not through search) it should change to a text field where you can edit.
gaurav92 Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 ^Nah you can't :( I think its only Mods. who are allowed o do that.
Sachinism Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Hmmm well I think maybe if you do it straight after creating the thread, from the edit button > go advanced. Not 100% sure though Anyways when creating new threads on ICF, you should be treating it like your final draft of an essay for college and make sure its perfect before submitting :finger:
