Tum bachpan se hi phoney ho, asli mazaa chai ka sleeper mein nahin general mein hai jab thand ke maare haath mein aayi ho aur uth kar chai laane par jagah par kabzaa ho jaane ka dar ho. Aise waqt par chai ka pyar, dosti, aur daadagiri kaam aate hain.

Par ek Gomti Express naam ki train chalti hai Dilli-Lucknow, usme kabhi chalo to ek se badh kar ek milenge. Best part is, it's scheduled to reach Lucknow around 10 PM par aaj tak main use 2 baje se pehle aate nahin dekha.

Laloo to aajkal sab train sabko super-fast naam de diya hai, rukti abhi bhi hai har station pe.. Bahut chalu zhiz hai laloo ab super-fast naam ke chalte bhara barh jata hai aur use ye bhi nahin kahan parta hai ki hamen bhara barhaya.. in fact normal wali trains mein 1-2 rs ghata hi deta hai janta bhi khus laloo bhi khus.... bewkoof janta ye nahin samajha pa rahi hai ki ak ke baad ak sari train ka nama super-fast hota ja raha hai..:D

I had commented upon this a long time before as well, 70% of the railway revenue is not through passenger fair but through freight. By increasing fares there and increasing the amount allowed to be carried in one freight compartment, he is screwing up the long term viability of the system and coming off as some major economic reformer.

Train travelling se yaad aaya aaj se 15 saal pehle ki baat.......hamaari buwaa ji jab bhi Mumbai aati, train mein Stove bhi saath lekar nikal padati aur raashte bhar Khaana banaate, khaatey khilaatey safar katataa. Baad mein Jab Sarkar ne Jwalansheel padartho ka ishtemaal kadaai se band kar diyaa, Buwaaji ko kehaan farak padney waala, rashtey mein TC milaa toh usse bhi khaana-paani pooch liyaa :D
theguyinallblue Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 i always prefer to travel in 3-tier Non-AC... sab log AC wale dabbe me ..aur mai sleeper class me.. i always prefer the side-lower birth...wahan se 2-2 compartment ke darshan ho jaate hain..aur seats bhi thodi broad hoti hain.. Toilet wagairah jaane ke liye AC wala use karna padta hai...somethimes i totally skip it while i am in train.. also getting down at every station where train stops for more than 5 minutes..and stretching...strolling....bhaiya India dekhna hai to sleeper class me travel karo.... delhi to Bihar, Mumbai, calcutta...yeh sab theek hai.. but those long journey travels ...like to B'lore or Hyderabad or Chennai..etc..its better to travel in AC..

I canceled my reservation once booked on a credit card and it took them 5 months to refund the money, but it did eventually get into my bank account, which probably got doubled in those days thanks to Indian Railways.
