It should not be held as a negative unless it is defaulting Ind's GDP per capita is $1,700. Debt per capita is $340 SL's GDP per capita is $3,800. Debt per capita is $2,200 USA, as we know, has even more debt per capita SLPL is irrelevant to the discussion PS SL growth rate is 4.4% so it is adding $167 per capita Ind growth rate is 7% so it is adding $119 per capita. To match SL's per capita addition of $167, Ind would have to grow by 9-10% Edited December 4, 2017 by zen GoldenSun 1 Link to comment

I am sure many indices are better in Sl already, they have 20 million people which is 1/3 population of TN or KA or Haryana etc so yeah they are better off. India has two problems one is lack of cleanliness ( which is endemic) and then the lack of regulations/forceful enforcement of regulations on industrial/domestic waste management. Both these are being addressed in certain south states as a poll issue ( and are fairly non existent in some like Kerala, not sure about North Indian states, any one can comment. zen 1 Link to comment

Delhi should be banned from hosting any cricket match along with some other Indian state with similar pollution level. Why haven't Lankan players refused to play in such pathetic condition and left the field already. It's not safe for the them. If conditions were better their pacers would've performed much much better than they have so far in this match. Pathetic from bcci and match officials. The clown has arrived!!!! Link to comment
