Desi Cartman
Its live on Fox Sports :yay: PM XI 7-103 off 26 overs Its strange that PM XI is playing in whites while the Lankans are wearing colored clothing. The ball is White .. Link to comment
Donny
Good swing for the Sri Lankans and good bounce in the track. Shaun Marsh and Luke Ronchi got off to a positive start with 49 from 9.4 overs but SL hit back hard. 6 wickets fell for 52 runs. David Hussey (23 from 22) was looking a class above when he dragged a wide ball onto the stumps. Maharoof, Malinga and Amerasinghe each have 2 wickets. Link to comment
Donny
Ashley Noffke batting well. PM's XI 8/135 after 34 overs. Noffke 24* Bollinger 6* Link to comment
coffee_rules
Ronchi was supposed to be their next Gilly or the next Haddin right? Link to comment
Donny
He's a good prospect but Haddin will get the job in both forms for a while. Has recently played in the ODI team as a batsman. Luke Ronchi is an absolute gun with the bat but very 'hit or miss'. Like Gilly, he opens in one dayers and bats at #7 in first class. Matt Wade (Victoria) and Tim Paine (Tasmania) are the other two bright prospects as 'keeper/batsmen. PM's XI all out 152. Noffke 30. Malinga 3/33. Link to comment
Desi Cartman
152 All out SL will win in 20 overs Link to comment
Sachinism
how are SL supposed to bat against a white ball with the bowlers wearing white unfair advantage Link to comment
Donny
Oh no !!! :omg: Sri Lanka will probably charter a Canberra Airlines plane and threaten to go home if the Aussie boys don't change the ball or their clothing. Link to comment
Donny
SL is finding it so unfair that they've staggered to 1/48 in 10 overs. Link to comment

The Outsider
So' date=' should we still be calling Sri Lanka Ceylon ? Should we refer to Zimbabwe as Rhodesia ?[/quote'] Most would still get the meaning. I still prefer to call Mumbai as Bombay and Kolkatta as Calcutta, as long as the meaning is being conveyed what's the point of nitpicking like this? Link to comment
