When you watched speed guns, did you see English bowlers hitting 120s and 130s only? They struggled to hit 140s, how did that happen?

Guess they would be averaging 110 in other countries. But somehow that doesn't happen either.

Obviously this isn't that obvious.

bolded part is irrelevant to the topic at hand, what are your getting at ?

the italicized part is untrue, you keep bring in straw-men arguments in many rebuttals you make.  Meaning you state something that a person has not stated and then debunk it - it means nothing, its a very common fallacy, utterly useless in a discussion through.

You claimed it to be obvious that pacers' speed is inflated in Aus and pace of English bowlers shows that it isn't.

So once again how is it obvious? Passing random statements as obvious thing doesn't make it a fact.

Still waiting for reply on those 150-160 speeds in India and relevance of Vinay Kumar's speed in Aus comment.

goes over my head you need 150-160 speeds in India for whom?  and Vinay hit 150+ in a ODI ( that delivery was hit to a four i guess it was melbourne cant be sure) in Aus he has never hit that in India not even gets close, Aus does seem like they use the fastest reading of the deliveries - but ofcourse this is speculation based on bowling speeds telecast, will be till we find at least some documentary evidence.

Not surprised even though examples have already been posted as you have made up your mind on being selective with random assumptions.

Quoting the posts again with examples of bowlers hitting 150-160 in India and SA. How do you explain this?

Kallis hit 160 in SA.

Barinder Sran hit 149 this IPL in India.

Jason Holder hit 150 in 2016 IPL.

Balaji and Awana hit 148-150 in 2012 IPL.

Heck even Mishraji and Rashid Khan hit 145+ this IPL.

What's the point of your post?

@Vilander Try simple reasoning

Observation - Vinay Kumar, Ishant Hazelwood hit 150 in Australia

Assumption - Speeds are inflated in Australia in comparison to other countries.

Questions

Observation - Ishant hits 150 in India also.

Question - How is speeds inflated in Australia?

Observation - There are multiple examples of Vinay Kumar type outliers/errors.

Question - How does same thing happening everywhere sometimes makes speeds inflated in Aus?

Observation - English bowlers were seen bowling in 120s and 130s in Aus while they easily hit 145 in England.

Question - If speeds are inflated then why don't we see higher speeds for English bowlers?

Final Question - Even if we assume highest reading is taken in Aus, how does it automatically mean same is done in other countries?
