if you aren't well settled where you are' date=' go back to india. it's booming there.[/quote'] People still migrate to USA, UK, Canada, Aus etc...not just for "money and booming" or not, but for lifestyle reasons. Some prefer the lifestyle in other countries to lifestyle in India. Everything is a tradeoff, and there are more than one reason for decisions usually.

That was the case in 80s and 90s. Now, there is not much difference in lifestyles between living in western countries and in urban India in large metros like Mumbai etc. With the IT salraires you can afford the same luxuries that they enjoy abroad. I don't still see any difference. Plus you will get to afford things which we cannot even dream of outside. Like domestic help, drivers for cars, good schools, etc.

I am not talking abt "afford" thingz - which basically goes back to money. Yes, affordability wise thingz can be fine back in India. But lifestyle is more than that. People's mindset has only partially changed. They can sometimes interfere with ur life, pass unnecessary comments, crib abt some thingz etc. Fortunately, for some of us our parentz are more accomodating of our individual personalities and wishes. But society as a whole may still have some closed connotations and outlook and they feel free to comment on other people's lives, and that can be very irritating. Also, corruption and lethargy for basic and fundamental issues (safety, schools, water supply etc) are still abundant in many public and private sectors.
