CC1981 Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Easily the classiest and most cost/effort-effective way of indianizing your room is to buy some artwork ( like Rajasthani multi-colored etched bronze plates or a black marble statue of Nataraja) and decorate your room with that. Not to mention, if you are in the habit of cooking Indian food, your job is half-done for you, for soon your place will smell like a curry-house. Aditi Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 I had put those gold embroidered square pillowcases on the wall of my room, an Indian style cloth letter-holder, a framed Rajasthani Miniature, couple sarongs/dupattas...kitschy stuff like that.
