Wrong. Abdali comes from Abdal, which comes from Yeopthal. The Yeopthal clan is attested in several sources, since they were the first nomadic alliance from Central Asia to smash into the Iranian Empire ( Sassanids) and actually defeat it ( though not end it). They are called 'Ye-da-i-li-to' in the Chinese sources, Abdal in the Nuristani languages, Haital in Armenian, Hayatila in Arabic and Ebodollo in Bactrian ( ancient variant of Farsi, now extinct).
