Lack of specialist batsmen in the World Cup squad

Everyone keeps rightly complaining about Shankar and Jadhav because of their poor performances but just look at who are their back ups in the squad, Karthik & Pant. 

 

Which idiot selector thought it was a good idea to pick only 3 specialist batsmen (Rohit, Rahul, Kohli) in a World Cup squad? 

 

I think we missed a massive trick in not giving consistent chances to specialist batsmen like Agarwal, Iyer, Gill etc. prior to the World Cup. 

 

This current squad has too many bits and pieces players.

Railu kattas ( bits and pieces and good for nothing) as Imran put it. Pak wisened up and replaced Shoaib Malik with specialist Haris Sohail.

 

Iyer or Aggarwal should have been given chance at no.4 for WC. Useless selectors that will cost the cup.

 

Also i think lack of left arm pace bowler is also a problem.
