You won the World Cup - most undeservingly 

 

weather - zero marks for that . Spoilt pak chances 

 

umpiring - lol it was useless at best 

 

spirit - think I can call this deflection World Cup 

nz won the spirit , won by wickets and also by runs. U won by shortening boundaries and deflecting on purpose and creating batting pitches for ur imp matches  

 

people calling the finals best ever - seen champion sides win fair and square . Aussies West Indies lanka pak and India - all sides were best at that cup 

 

this was a cup of luck- New Zealand rode on luck but FairPlay . U however manipulated the so called home advantage

So long as a subcontinent team wins I am fine - the pitches against aussie and India were batting friendly to help England - esp the short boundary 

 

england was not the best team - new Zealand was perhaps given its balance . Pak found form later on to be denied due to the weather .

india too lost under the clouds .

I think the pitches were excellent. It was proper bat vs ball and brought back a 1999 flavour to the scores. Not too many centuries and 300 plus scores. Something for everyone. And it wasn’t set up to favor england at all. Was fair by the icc. The final for instance was a 240 play 240

pitch and not at all to England’s liking. England truly deserved to win in my opinion. England also chased in the semis and finals after losing both tosses. They won 4 must win games towards the back end against 3 of the best teams in the tournament. They had players for every situation and is a very well rounded team

After the rough weather in the first half of the tournament, the tournament turned out to be quite enjoyable. Challenging pitches make for some fun cricket.
