Voted for Ishant! :isalute: Dale Steyn is just a fluke, he has no talent, he has just built a career on a series of flukes (like today). Ishant is the real man, has all the talent in the world, but is just plain unlucky. Don't go by stats and all, they are all lies. P.S. - Ishant may end up playing 200 Tests which Steyn can't even dream of. :winky:

Steyn will be the first to 400 wickets. Steyn won't get to 500 he will retire. Ishant will be the first to 500, at the age of 37, after 200 tests at the average of 53.

He was not the spearhead in 2008,they still had Ntini and Nel.Was an up and comer Same with Ishant who madean impact in his first series, don't see anything wrong comparing 2 exciting talents in 2008. Obviously things have changed a lot

people obviously did not see steyn and just saw stats. he was hitting helmets of people for fun and swinging ball big ..also ishant's first series was against pakistan and even in australia he showed potential his actualy contribution was not great and you can go back and check stats umesh yadav in his first tour of australia did much better than ishant sharma in his first tour of australia..we just over hyped ishant too early and i blame that harsha and shastri for that:cantstop:

Ishant Sharma was part of a squad that won CB series where he was one of the fastest bowlers and top wicket takers. He was a part of the test team that lost 2-1 in an epic series which could have very well been 1-1. Umesh got the hype too against Australia despite w got our ***s handed to us but obviously unfortunately for him was part of a forgettable campaign

how does it changes how he actually bowled ? umesh got more wickets and still no one compared him to any bowler who is averaging under 25 and has over 100 wickets. just because it was good or bad series does not change actual performance and just hows mindset of fans who after winning few games get too positive and after losing few tend to get too negative .
