I think we're getting ahead of ourselves here. His batting is not Pollock or all rounder level yet, a lot of these were just slogging and hitting - but very clean, well timed strokes. He's got a good eye and raw talent, but needs a lot more technique and work on his batting if he's to ever be anywhere near an all rounder. Right now though I think he's got all the tools to be a very handy test #8 or 9 - but keep in mind that he's made just one 50+ score in all cricket before this.
